I have my first 1:1 pilates personal training class at gangnam pt’s gym today! It is hella expensive even with the discount he’s giving me so if I don’t feel like death on toast afterwards I’m not doing it again but we’ll see~ so glad it will be someone else not him training me though =_=

I’m also getting Lasik NEXT FRIDAY! AHHHH! Mothership is paying for it (“this is your belated graduation present, early birthday and christmas present so don’t expect anything else for the rest of the year” HA)! I’m getting it done at Eyereum (아이리움 안과) which is in the building literally attached to Gangnam St Exit 2. It’s more expensive than where some other friends that have had it done at because he uses a better laser but it is someone cutting my cornea with a laser so I’m not about to go somewhere that posts weekly promotions on facebook sorry not sorry don’t care if you had a great experience there. He asked me not to quote the price he gave me because it’s a super special I know people price ^_^v but his English is flawless, the clinic is amazing and so efficient, it is literally probably one of the best clinics in the world to get Lasik so if you want any info let me know~

ALSO in health related news, I am getting the Gardasil vaccine (protects against four strains of HPV) at Mediflower which Estelio (I think?) posted about last week. I had my first shot last week and will get my next one in two months, and then the last week six months later. If you pay for all 3 at once its 500,000 won, which is expensive as fuck all but not as expensive as back home in MURICA so if you are interested in that too and want details shoot me an ask. I discovered how to avoid the bizarre appointment system at Mediflower too! Get the last appointment of the day (5:30 pm) on a weekday! I will take literally any excuse to leave work earlier.

Hey! I'm 17 and really interested in getting a job in Korea when I graduate from uni. I'm going this Autumn to study geoscience in a top UK university. I really want to learn Korean before I go, but I'm hesitant in investing that time and energy. Sure, it's something I really want to do, but I fear racial prejudice will make it unpleasant for me (I'm Black-British and have insanely curly, thick afro hair - it's short though). Do you think it would be difficult for me to live in Korea? Thanks :)

Uhm…. you have so much time! If you are that interested in Korea that you want to move here, even if you don’t end up actually doing it it’s not going to be a waste of your time to pick up a Korean book and study a bit! Honestly by the time you are finished with Uni I have no idea how much Korea will have changed in its acceptance of foreigners. You got plenty of time girl! Crack a book!
